Streets of Angeles

Do you ever walk and look down at what you might be passing by? Most people don't. Today I did. Here is a little iPhone photos essay of some things I came across. This might become addictive to me.

[RANT] Satellites of love

I was going through a bunch of random photographs that I have of benign objects and came across this one. It made me think of this satellite they just shot down and how there is now a bunch of debris floating around this planet. I also was thinking of how many satellites must be orbiting the planet as well. Then I started to think of cell phones.
And then cell phone coverage
And then how bad cell phone coverage is in America
And then about how if this was a cell phone tower I probably would have to wrap my head in tin foil, stand on one leg and touch my tongue to the tower just to get a signal.

I should really consider moving to Europe

TWO LINES ALIGN

Last night the missus and some friends and I meandered down to the Redcat gallery at the Disney Concert Hall to see the "TWO LINES ALIGN" show of drawings and graphic designs by Geoff McFetridge and Ed Fella.

The show was quite impressive and although I was not familiar with Ed's work he had a few pieces that I was quite into. Geoff of course blew me away as he always does. But then again I am biased. Geoff and I are old friends from Canada and he actually did my first board graphics for my signature model snowboards when I used to think I was actually good at it.

Douchebag?

Link
I don't know if I should be offended as a fellow redhead or not but I gotta be honest when I say that it is odd to see one of your old friends become über famous let alone palling around with the girl next door. I gotta say that I think Shaun might need a bit of a trim in the hair department but he has got to be doing something right when he is seen around town with Elisha Cuthbert . Did they actually call him a douchebag? Harsh! But at least she is Canadian so he does get a few points for that.

Dondé Está el Chupa Cabras?

After working her ass off Stacey finally switched to a new job with better hours better pay etc blah blah blah. But the most exciting thing was that we were able to take a little vacation down to Sayulita Mexico.

Here are some of the little things we got up to:

Getting drunk and smoking cigars in the town square
Getting pink on a secluded beach
Eating 50¢ tacos from a street vendor
Drinking Pina Coladas that were as big as a fish bowl
Met nice Mexican people
Drank beers in public with a 50 something couple who love Mitt Romney
Discovered that when hot dogs are wrapped in bacon they are reaaaaally good

We saw many things including:

Pretty Butterflies
Cheap beer
Bad art
Hippies
Dogs with droopy teets

Things we didn't see:

The Chupa Cabras!
Mitt Romney
